Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, along with Rajya Sabha MP and BJP Senior Leader Gulam Ali Khatana, graced the occasion as the chief guests and interacted with the newly appointed youth at SMVDU. Addressing the gathering, Gulam Ali Khatana congratulated the appointees and said that the Rozgar Mela reflects the unwavering commitment of the Modi Government to empower India’s youth by creating meaningful employment opportunities, ensuring transparent recruitment processes, and making young citizens equal partners in the nation’s developmental journey.

He added that initiatives like Rozgar Mela, Skill India, Digital India, and Vocal for Local have opened new avenues of progress, while landmark reforms such as GST and the new criminal law codes (BNS, BNSS, BSB) are strengthening India’s governance framework and promoting efficiency, accountability, and transparency.

Khatana further emphasized that employment generation is a key pillar of socio-economic development. He said, “Providing stable and dignified employment to youth is critical for the growth of our society and the nation. The Rozgar Mela not only offers jobs but also inspires skill development, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship among young Indians. Each appointment letter symbolizes hope, opportunity, and the government’s commitment to building a workforce that drives India forward.”

Appointment letters were distributed to candidates under various Central Government departments and organizations including the Department of Posts, Department of Railways, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Vijaypur, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and the State Bank of India (SBI).

The event was attended by Prof. Pragati Kumar Ji (Partner, Indian Postal Service), Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, and senior revenue, administrative, and university officials. MP Khatana extended warm wishes to all newly appointed youth, urging them to serve the nation with dedication, honesty, and a spirit of public service.
