Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Satish Vimal said that Akashvani Srinagar has always been at the forefront of promoting young and emerging talent.

“Through this MoU, Akashvani Srinagar reaffirms its commitment to nurturing youth potential by offering them one of the most credible and far-reaching media platforms in the country,” he said.

“We are confident that the collaboration with GDC Baramulla will not only strengthen practical media education but also allow students to experience real-world broadcasting and audience engagement.” Prof. Lone described the agreement as an “important milestone” for the college’s Media Studies Department.

“Our students will now have the opportunity to create and air their radio programmes on Akashvani Srinagar. This partnership gives them a gateway to professional broadcasting and a vast audience,” he said.
