Srinagar: An IED was detected and subsequently destroyed on Monday in the Shopian district of south Kashmir, officials said.
“The IED was planted by suspected terrorists and was found by security forces during a routine patrol along the roadside in Heff,” officials added.
They stated that a bomb disposal squad was called to the scene, where the IED was safely destroyed without causing any damage.
