JAMMU/SRINAGAR: Ministers Sakeena Itoo and Satish Sharma have extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Diwali – the Festival of Lights.
In her message, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, said Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, reminding everyone of the power of hope, compassion, and collective effort in building a brighter and healthier future. She prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity across the region.
Similarly, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma, described Diwali as a celebration of the eternal victory of light over darkness and righteousness over evil. He emphasized the importance of truth, compassion, and unity in strengthening the social fabric, urging people to celebrate with joy and mutual respect, promoting harmony and goodwill among all sections of society. He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and overall development in Jammu and Kashmir, wishing that the festival brings renewed hope and happiness to every home.
