RAJOURI: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, today visited Nowshera & Sunderbani areas of Rajouri district, wherein he laid foundation stones for several important developmental projects aimed at improving connectivity and infrastructure in these areas.
During the visit, the Deputy CM laid foundation stone for upgradation of the Lamberi-Gogri road project as well as construction/upgradation of the road from MS Kanara to the International School Handan. He also took an assessment of ongoing works on the 20-meter span motorable bridge at Zinda Peer Kampla and its approach road.
Later, the Deputy CM also visited Bus Stand Sunderbani, where he kick-started the blacktopping works to enhance road quality and commuting for the general public.
During his visit, the Deputy CM also interacted with residents and listened to their issues and developmental aspirations. He assured them of the Government’s continued commitment to last-mile development and improving public amenities across all areas.
The general public expressed gratitude and appreciation for the sustained efforts of the government in strengthening road infrastructure and accelerating developmental activities in the region.
Superintending Engineer, Tilak Raj; Executive Engineer, Sarwar Mehmood and other district and sectoral officers also accompanied the Deputy CM during the visit.
