Srinagar: A young man was injured in an attack with a sharp-edged weapon in Qamarwari area of Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that 18-year-old Numaan, son of Jan Mohammad Khanday, resident of Qamarwari, was attacked by an individual with a sharp-edged axe, leaving him in a pool of blood.
He said the boy was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated investigations.
