Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Congress will hold an important meeting today at 12:00 PM at the party headquarters in Srinagar. All senior Congress leaders from J&K are scheduled to participate.
According to party sources, the core agenda of the meeting is the seat-sharing proposal offered by the National Conference. Leaders will deliberate on Rajya Sabha seat NC is leaving for Congress and how the party plans to respond.
The meeting will also focus on the upcoming bypolls in Nagrota and Budgam constituencies. Discussions will revolve around candidate selection and campaign strategy, and coordination with alliance partners.(KNS)
