Srinagar: Police raided a gambling site in a Srinagar area and arrested five gamblers.
A statement issued by police said that a police party of police station Zadibal raided a gambling site at Doonipora and apprehended five gamblers namely Manoj Singh son of Nagasor Singh, Brij Kishore son of Sukojen, Laaljee Sahib son of Gangasahagat, Shamim Mian son of Anthony Mian and Mohd Salam son of Subadar Mian, all residents of Bihar.
Gambling cards and stake money of Rs 4200 was recovered from the gambling site.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 20/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act has been registered and all the accused persons have been arrested.
