New Delhi: Mohmad Husain Lone from Guffan, Yaripora, Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has been honoured with the prestigious Bharat Samaan Award for his remarkable contribution to social service in Jammu and Kashmir.
The award ceremony was held in New Delhi in October 2025.
The award was presented by an eminent panel comprising Bollywood actor Rahul Roy; K. K. Sharma, Former Joint Deputy Director, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; Sunil Kumar, Assistant Director, MSME, Government of India; Dilip Chenoy, Secretary General, FICCI; Dr. Pradeep Jagtap, Chief Coordinator, FEBO London and FO to the Union Minister of State, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment; Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, CEO, Six Sigma; Dr. Balaji Singh B. M., CEO & Founder, Building Protective Technologies; and CA (Dr.) Shankar Andani, President, Elite Chamber of Commerce & Industry, New Delhi.
Husain currently serves as the Regional Coordinator, SMM India, at the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC). In addition to his social service, he is known as a political analyst and columnist, actively promoting good governance, social welfare, and community development in the region.
The Bharat Samaan Award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the nation and brought global recognition to India through their service and dedication.
This recognition marks yet another proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting Husain’s tireless efforts in human development and his commitment to the upliftment of society.
