SRINAGAR: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.

In his message, the Minister said that Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is a festival that epitomises the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood. He added that this festival is a celebration of moral and spiritual values which have guided our society for centuries.

“This festival reminds us of the eternal message that righteousness always prevails and inspires us to lead our lives with courage, integrity and compassion,” he said.

Satish Sharma further emphasized that such occasions reinforce the ideals of unity, peace and brotherhood and strengthen the social fabric of our nation. He expressed hope that the festival would usher in happiness, prosperity and new opportunities for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister further urged the citizens, especially the youth, to take inspiration from the message of Vijayadashami and contribute positively towards the progress of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation. “Let us rededicate ourselves to the path of harmony, collective growth and inclusive development,” he added.

Satish Sharma also prayed for peace, progress and the well-being of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
