Srinagar: A man from Kupwara who had been missing since September 21 has been found dead in Srinagar, officials said on Monday.
Quoting officials, news agency KNC reported that a team from Police Station Kokernag reached Police Station Kothibagh along with a person from Verinag, Anantnag.
The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Pathan, son of Akbar Pathan, resident of Hyhama Glassdaji Manigah, Kupwara, who had been missing since September 21, 2025, they said.
Police have taken cognisance of the case and further investigation is underway.
