Srinagar: Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a distinguished physician hailing from Kashmir, has been celebrated in the March 2025 edition of the Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) Newsletter under the prestigious section, “Global Indian Physicians in the News.”

The newsletter is renowned for spotlighting the remarkable achievements and contributions of physicians of Indian descent worldwide.

Dr. Itoo is not only a highly respected physician but also an eminent public health expert and medical writer. His esteemed affiliations include being a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH, UK) and a Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow, Belgium). He is also an active member of multiple leading international medical organizations, further underscoring his commitment to advancing global healthcare and public health initiatives.

His recognition in the GAPIO Newsletter comes on the heels of receiving the prestigious Indian Achievers Award 2025, which honours individuals who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.
