In a thrilling contest, Ziran School clinched the title with an outstanding performance.

MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the winning team and applauded both sides for their spirited efforts. Addressing the gathering, Shah emphasized the importance of sports in the lives of students, particularly girls, noting that “sports are not only about fitness, but also about confidence, discipline, and all-round personality development.”

Later in the day, Shah convened Public Darbars at Tangmarg and Kunzer, where a large number of people turned up to present their issues and demands. The MLA patiently heard their grievances and assured that all genuine concerns would be addressed in a time-bound manner.

He also met a delegation of Mid-Day Meal (cook) employees who raised the issue of their pending salaries. Shah assured them that the matter would be taken up with the Government for an early resolution.

Later, the MLA visited Lalpora, Dobhiwan, and Barzulla to offer condolences to bereaved families, extending his solidarity and support in their hour of grief.
