The primary focus of the meeting was to further strengthen the party’s organizational structure, streamline coordination, and chalk out future strategies to deepen the BJP’s presence and influence across the Kashmir region.

Ashok Koul, while chairing the meeting, emphasized the need for a robust and disciplined organisational framework, which he said forms the backbone of the party’s expanding outreach. He underlined that the BJP’s growth in Jammu & Kashmir depends on grassroots empowerment, consistent interaction with the people, and an unwavering commitment to the principles of the party.

The meeting witnessed the participation of several senior leaders including BJP State General Secretary Anwar Khan, BJP Secretaries Mudasir Wani and Arif Raja, and All Cells Co-Incharge Bilal Parray. Detailed discussions revolved around expanding the party’s base, mobilizing cadre strength, and ensuring a united and coordinated approach in implementing upcoming initiatives.

Ashok Koul appreciated the efforts of the party functionaries in carrying the message of the BJP to every nook and corner of the region and urged them to work with renewed zeal and dedication. He stressed that the party’s ultimate objective remains to serve the people selflessly and to strengthen the spirit of democratic governance in Jammu & Kashmir.

Later in the day, Ashok Koul, accompanied by senior BJP leadership, visited the residence of Habibullah Shah of Guzarbal Noorbagh. Shah, father-in-law of senior BJP leader Ghulam Nabi Palpori, passed away earlier this morning after a brief illness. The BJP delegation extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayers for eternal peace to the departed soul. The leaders assured the family of full support during this difficult time.
