District Wushu Championship concludes at Showkat Ali Sports Stadium, Baramulla

Baramulla: The District Wushu Championship 2025 concluded on a high note after two days of intense competition at the Showkat Ali Sports Stadium, Baramulla.

The event, held on the 27th and 28th of August, saw the enthusiastic participation of approximately 200 students representing various schools and clubs from across the district.

The championship featured a range of categories showcasing the discipline, skill, and dedication of young Wushu athletes. The event was graced by the Hon’ble MLA of Gulmarg, who served as the Chief Guest and encouraged the participants with his presence and words of support.

In a thrilling display of martial arts talent, KC Academy, Baramulla, emerged as the overall winner of the championship, while GD Goenka Public School, Baramulla, secured the runner-up position.

The event was lauded for its excellent organisation and the spirit of sportsmanship displayed by all participants. Organisers thanked local authorities, school administrations, and coaches for their support in making the championship a grand success.
