Dungdara: The Kandi-XI team crushed Vizer-XI team by mammoth margin of 80 runs in their first match of Dungdara Premiere League 2018 in the Dungdara Play field here on Friday.

Batting first Kandi-XI reached to a decent total of 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs.  Amir Deen, Mohammad Waseem and Mohammad Shafi helped their team to reach such a decent total.

Amir Deen scored 33 runs, while as Mohammad Waseem and Mohammad Shafi added 27 and 22 runs respectively for Kandi-XI.

Chasing this total Vizer-XI were totally blown out by Kandi-XI bowlers as the Vizer-XI team was all out on just 60 runs. No Vizer-XI batsmen were able to tackle the bowling attack of the Kandi-XI team and hence lost the match by huge margin of 80 runs.

Mohammad Shafi was one of the most successful bowlers from the Kandi-XI side, with 6 wickets, while as Hamid and Shabir took 2 wickets each for Kandi-XI.

Mohammad Shafi was adjuged player of the match for his splendid bowling.
