The training programs, which commenced on June 30, 2025, were held simultaneously in Budgam, Kupwara, Pulwama and Shopian. A total of 81 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, including 48 women, participated in the six-day comprehensive training.

The MDPs focused on enhancing the managerial, financial and strategic skills of the participants, aiming to help them scale up operations, boost competitiveness and build sustainable enterprises. The curriculum, meticulously developed by the subject matter experts, featured modules on business planning, marketing strategies, digital tools, financial literacy, legal compliance, innovation and leadership.

To provide practical exposure, the programs also included field visits to successful business ventures, interactive sessions with sector specialists and mentorship opportunities. Experts from District Industries Centres (DICs) and the Labour and Employment Department shared insights with participants, helping them align their ventures with current industry practices.

The MDPs were monitored by designated Range/Reviewing Officers, who regularly engaged with the trainees and gathered feedback to ensure the quality and relevance of the training.

This initiative aligns with the broader objectives of the RAMP scheme to strengthen the MSME ecosystem across the Union Territory.
