Srinagar : The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed deep shock over the death of a seven year old boy in an explosion that took place in Shopian today and also left four other injured, some of them critically.
Expressing profound grief and shock Mir emphasized upon the authorities to ensure that no such explosive materials is left behind near the encounter sites to avoid loss of Civilian lives. He said the Memandar (Shopian) incident was ‘shocking and disappointing’ and added that it was hear wrenching to see precious human lives were being lost each day in Kashmir.
“My heart goes out for the bereaved family, I convey my deepest condolences to them” Mir added while appealing the masses not to allow their children to fiddle with the material left around encounter sites as these could be explosives and can cause death and injuries.
