Handwara: Dr. Nazir Ahmad assumed the charge of Block Medical Officer BMO Langate, and was warmly welcomed by employees and others.

On this occasion, the staff extended heartiest congratulations to Dr Nazir Ahmad and hailed the State Govt’s decision of assigning him with this new task and assured that the health employees will work with dedication and sincerity under his able guidance as they were doing earlier.

Dr Nazir Ahmad, while speaking on the occasion, thanked all the employees, particularly the staff of the BMO Office and the Employees of the Health Block Langate, saying good teamwork is needed for good results.

Addressing staff after taking charge, Dr. Nazir outlined his priorities for the district’s healthcare sector, stressing the need to improve infrastructure and ensure quality medical services across all areas.

“My focus will be on strengthening primary health facilities, streamlining referral systems, and ensuring the availability of essential medicines and staff in peripheral institutions,” he said.

Dr. Nazir called for public cooperation to enhance transparency and service delivery. He encouraged residents to share feedback and grievances directly with his office, assuring timely redressal of all genuine concerns.
