The clearance of the examination assures Rs 12,000 yearly financial assistance to the academically promising students belonging to economically weaker sections for a period of four years.

The NMMSS, being a flagship scheme of the Central Government, has been instrumental in encouraging meritorious students to chase their academic dreams over the years.

The Central Government has allotted a quota of 1068 seats for the meritorious students of Jammu and Kashmir this year.

The J&K BOSE had made elaborate arrangements for ensuring complete transparency through a multi-layer monitoring mechanism involving CEOs, HOIs, Board officials and the invigilators.
