Srinagar: JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik has termed the Indian state as ‘worst than Hitler and Genghis Khan’ saying that the heinous atrocities committed upon people here were a proof of worst form of occupation. In a press release issued here, JKLF condemned the continued imprisonment of its leader and other separatist leaders and said that it was heart wrenching to see that the world was silently witnessing the ‘brutal human rights violations’ committed by India in Kashmir.  “Unrelenting massacre of Kashmiri innocents and criminal silence of humankind on it is disgraceful and disgusting. Under the camouflage of democracy, Indian state is doing what can shame Hitler and Genghis Khan too,” Malik was quoted as saying by the press release.

The press release further added that from Shopian to Rafiabad the story of ‘tyranny and Military oppression’ was a glaring proof of Indian ‘terrorism’.  Malik condemned the killing of five Kashmirs including three unarmed civilians at Kundalan Shupian and Nadihal Rafiabad.

While strongly condemning the killings, Malik said that Indian State was ‘unrelentingly massacring’ Kashmiri innocents and termed it ‘ironic’ that the international community, especially the champions of Human rights and human values, were maintaining a ‘criminal silence’ which, he added, was ‘disgraceful and disgusting’.

Malikm further said that under the ‘camouflage of democracy’, Indian state in Kashmir was doing what would put mass killers like Hitler and Genghis Khan to shame. “The spree of Killings, arrests, choking of peaceful political space, vandalizing whole localities under the garb of so-called CASO and other oppressive measures can never force Kashmiri nation into submission. In fact these tyrannical acts have turned Kashmiris more passionate and resilient and our march towards Freedom and Self–determination will continue till the achievement of the desired goal,” Malik was quoted as saying by the press release.

JKLF chairman while expressing solidarity with the families of all those whose dear ones were killed, prayed for their heavenly abode.

Meanwhile JKLF has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Afroaz Hussain Wani of Untabhawan and Master Ghulam Ahmad Paul of Ompora Budgam who left for heavenly abode recently. Deceased Afroaz Hussein Wani was brother of veteran journalist Altaf Hussain Wani while as Master Ghulam Ahmad Paul was a famous social figure of his area. While expressing solidarity with the families of both the deceased, JKLF prayed for the heavenly abode of the both.
