Anantnag: As part of the nationwide observance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 years, senior BJP leaders across Jammu and Kashmir organized press conferences to highlight the development milestones achieved under the current government. In Anantnag district, a press conference was held at the Dak Bungalow, led by BJP National Executive Member and Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi.

Addressing the media, Dr. Andrabi shed light on the transformative developmental journey undertaken by the BJP over the past 11 years. She stated that under PM Modi’s leadership, the lives of ordinary citizens have undergone revolutionary changes.

“India has moved from being the 10th largest economy to the 4th, according to international projections, reflecting not just economic progress but its real impact on the daily lives of citizens,” Dr. Andrabi remarked.

She highlighted flagship welfare schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat, stating that these initiatives have directly benefitted millions of people across the country.

She also mentioned welfare programs like the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana, scholarships under the National Fellowship Scheme, and health insurance through Ayushman Bharat, which have particularly empowered marginalized communities.

Dr. Andrabi said that Jammu and Kashmir has seen visible improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education,development, Road connectivity and civic amenities, crediting these advancements to BJP’s focused governance and welfare-driven policies.

“This is an era of development, youth empowerment, and inclusive public service rooted in the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” she concluded.
