EJAC defers ‘Peaceful Protest’ of 11th July

Srinagar: An emergency meeting of Employees joint Action committee (EJAC) was held at Central Office Srinagar under the chairmanship of its President Ab Qayoom Wani announcing to defer the peaceful protest programme which was scheduled on 11th July, a press release issued here said.

“Due to some unavoidable circumstances, the peaceful protest programme announced by EJAC in favour of SSA teachers, Head teachers and RMSA Masters on 11th July ishereby deferred. The date for the same shall be communicated very soon,” Wani was quoted as saying by the press release. The press release further added that the peaceful protest programme announced by Teachers Joint Action committee (TJAC) on 17th of July shall be held as per schedule.
