Srinagar: A local youth drowned to death in the Chanibal area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Tajamul Hussain Dar, resident of Chanibal, Pattan, news agency JKNS reported.
He was reportedly found in an unconscious state after drowning and was immediately shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.
