DC Shopian convenes meeting on Mission YUVA

SHOPIAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta (Chairman DLIC Mission YUVA), today convened a comprehensive meeting on Mission YUVA at the mini-secretariat Shopian.

During the meeting, DC directed all officers and officials to ensure regular outreach to every potential entrepreneur already identified under the Mission YUVA baseline survey. Emphasis was laid on intensifying efforts across all departments to improve progress under the Mission YUVA schemes.

DC highlighted the critical role of proactive outreach and awareness generation to maximise enrollment in various YUVA initiatives.

DC emphasized the importance of coordination, accountability, and timely reporting to achieve the mission’s objectives effectively.

All officers were assigned daily targets and instructed to submit achievement reports on a daily basis.

YUVA DOOTs were also directed to accelerate their efforts to ensure that all eligible individuals are covered under the mission.

The meeting included detailed discussions on targets and action plans for mobilizing youth under Mission YUVA.

A one-on-one interaction session was held with the YUVA DOOTs, during which progress reports and issues faced by each DOOT were reviewed. Each YUVA DOOT was assigned a weekly target for application submission to ensure consistent progress.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone; ACR, all Tehsildars, BDOs, district officers, and YUVA DOOTs.
