Srinagar, July 09: A 45-year-old woman died today after she was stabbed by unknown assailants inside her house in Bandipora district of north Kashmir last night, the police said.
The assailants barged into house of Abdul Majeed Dar at Shahgung-Hajin last night and stabbed his wife Shakeela in the abdomen, a police official said.
He said the victim was rushed to a hospital here in a critical condition but succumbed to injuries this morning.
Police have registered a case and started investigations into the incident.
