Srinagar, Jul 09: Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday terminated the appointments of vice-chairpersons of two corporations in the state.

In two separate orders issued through the General Administration Department (GAD) the government said the appointments of vice-chairmen of J&K Agro Industries Development Corporation  and J&K State Advisory Board for the Development of Gujjar & Bakerwals  have been terminated with immediate effect.

“The appointment of Rashid Ahmad as Vice-Chairperson, J&K Agro Industries Development Corporation made by the Agriculture Production Department vide Government order No.129-Agri of 2017 dated 11.05.2017, is hereby terminated with immediate effect,” the GAD order read.

Another order said: “The appointment of Gulzar Ahmad Khatana as Vice-Chairperson, J&K State Advisory Board for the Development of Gujjar & Bakerwals made vide Government Order No.1688-GAD of 2017 dated 29.12.2017, is hereby terminated with immediate effect.”
