Several delegations call on Advisor Ganai, seek redressal of grievances

SRINAGAR, JULY 09: Continuing with his daily redressal of grievances of the general public, the Advisor to the Governor, Khursheed Ahmad Ganai, met several delegations here today.

The employees of the Sericulture Department sought early release of their pending wages, which have been withheld for many months. The J&K civil engineering graduates association also flagged their issues pertaining to their regularization.

The Advisor assured that he will look at the matter with the concerned and the same will be redressed in a stipulated timeframe.

Similarly, deputations from Kulgam, Zainageer Reshipora Sopore, Pulwama, Anantnag and other areas called on the Advisor, besides individuals, civil society representatives’ from different areas including Awami Behbood Committee, Falah Wa Behbood Committee, Kashmir Tourist Taxi Transporters Federation, Sumo Owners Union Pantha Chowk Srinagar also underlined their concerns and discussed several developmental issues in their respective areas including up-gradation of schools, road macadamization, construction of bridges, culverts etc .

While giving the patient hearing to deputations, the Advisor assured that all the genuine issues will be looked at and appropriate action will be taken. He also reiterated the government’s commitment to boost the development of the state.
