Hajj-2018: Govt sets up special team in New Delhi to facilitate pilgrims

SRINAGAR, JULY 09: The Government has set up a team of officers/officials from the State to be deployed on duty at the Transit Camp and Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi for extending support to the Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir and also to oversee the arrangements relating to the smooth transit of the pilgrims on their way to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and back.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) in this regard, the team of officers include, Aijaz Ahmad (Nodal Officer), Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID Cell, New Delhi, Pamela Kachroo, Tourist Officer, J&K Tourist Office, New Delhi, C B Koul, Manager, J&K TDC, New Delhi, Sharafat Hussain, Marketing Inspector, Office of the Deputy Director Horticulture (P&M) New Delhi, S S Jamwal, Liaison Officer, J&K SRTC Delhi, Aquib Sharif Zargar, Junior Engineer, J&K PWD Sub-division, New Delhi, S L Khuyama, Junior Assistant, J&K PWD Sub-Division, New Delhi, Basharat Ahmed, Computer Operator, J&K CID Cell, New Delhi, Nazar-ul-Islam, Head Constable J&K CID Cell New Delhi, Syed Gowhar Shaida, Selection Grade Constable, J&K, CID Cell New Delhi, Naveed Sharma,    Selection Grade Constable, J&K, CID Cell New Delhi and Monu Kumar office of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
