Srinagar: A woman from Noorbagh area of Srinagar, died after receiving an electric shock while washing clothes at her residence on Monday, officials said.
An official said that a woman from Pamposh area of Noorbagh Srinagar was injured while washing clothes when she accidentally received an electric shock. She was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment where she succumbed later on.
She was identified as Fazi Banoo, wife of Abdul Ahad Kumar, a resident of Pamposh Colony, Palpora Noorbagh. Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
