SRINAGAR: Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Kashmir, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.

The Vice Chancellor briefed the Lieutenant Governor about the breakthrough Research, viz development of the first gene-edited sheep in the country.

SKUAST Kashmir is endeavouring in the two most important technologies which are revolutionising the world: Artificial Intelligence and Gene editing technologies, and has earned the 77th Patent.

The Vice Chancellor also briefed the Lieutenant Governor about the new programs and initiatives of the University. He further informed that the academic programme, which was switched to hybrid mode recently, would be normalised from 1st June, 2025.
