Altaf Bukhari leads party delegation to martyr Syed Adil Hussain’s residence in Hapatnar

Srinagar: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with a group of senior party colleagues, visited Hapatnar village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag today to meet the bereaved family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a pony ride operator who died along with 25 tourists in the horrific recent terror attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday.

Shah, the sole breadwinner of his family, sacrificed his life while trying to disarm a terrorist during the attack.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party President led a party leaders’ delegation —that included party’s Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Chief Coordinator Abdul Majeed Padder, Chief Spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, Party Leader Imad Mir, Coordinator Mudasir Bhat, and Block President G M Rather, and others— to visit the grieving family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah at Hapatnar in Anantnag district.

The leaders met the bereaved family members and extended their heartfelt condolences to them.

On this occasion, while addressing the condolence gathering, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari paid glowing tribute to martyr Syed Adil Hussain.

He said, “We have come here to extend condolences to the parents and other members of the bereaved family of Adil, who sacrificed his life while trying to save the tourists. We are all deeply grieved by this tragedy, and we stand in complete solidarity with every family that lost their loved ones in this gruesome attack.”

Rafi Ahmed Mir and Muntazir Mohiuddin also addressed the condolence gathering at the residence of the bereaved family and paid tribute to martyr Adil Hussain.

During the visit, Apni Party leaders met with the individuals who were the first to engage in rescue efforts following the terror attack. These bravehearts included Abdul Waheed, Sajjad Ahmed, Rouf Bhat, and Bilal Magray.

Meanwhile, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari also visited Shahanwar Colony, Hyderpora, to extend condolences to party worker Fayaz Ahmad Bhat on the demise of his Mother, Taja Begum. He was accompanied by the party’s Chief Spokesperson and State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin, Senior leader Mohammad Ashraf Dar and others.
