Addressing the gathering, Shah announced a significant initiative to open 30 new kindergarten schools across all seven blocks of Gulmarg, aimed at improving the quality of foundational education for children. He emphasized that early education plays a vital role in shaping the future of young minds.

The MLA also directed the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Tangmarg and school principals of the Khaipora zone to treat underprivileged students studying in government schools as their own children and ensure the best possible education for all.

Speaking on development plans, Shah highlighted the vision of establishing “Greater Gulmarg”, focusing on promoting rural tourism in scenic villages like Gogaldara, Ziran, Ferozpur, and Baderkoot. He urged the local community to cooperate with the administration and contribute to the overall development of the Khaipora block.

In a major relief to commuters, Shah assured that a bus service between Baramulla and Khaipora will be launched within the next 10 days.

During the visit, the MLA also inspected the Government Middle School Khaipora and reviewed the site proposed for the construction of a new school building to improve educational infrastructure in the area.
