2 drug peddlers held in Sopore

Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.

He said at Main Chowk Warpora, one Irfan Ahmad, son of Ghulam Hassan Malik of Bilalabad Warpora Sopore was arrested after 160 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon Plus were recovered from his possession.

During searches at the residential house of one Firdous Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Sultan Dar of Reban, police recovered 374 grams of cannabis-like substance. Subsequently Dar was arrested.
