JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, to be celebrated tomorrow
In a message, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. The life and teachings of Lord Mahavir, centred on non-violence, truth, compassion and humility, continue to inspire millions across the world. As we celebrate this sacred day, let us reaffirm our commitment to the values of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Satya (truth) and dedicate ourselves towards building a society based on peace, harmony, and mutual respect.”
He added that the ideals of Lord Mahavir are more relevant today than ever and urged people to follow his path to create a more compassionate and inclusive world.
