Srinagar: Police in Kulgam have attached properties worth more than ₹1.5 crores belonging to a drug peddler under the provisions of Section 68 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The attached two double-storied residential houses belonged to Reyaz Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Jabbar Ganie of Nassu Badragund, Qazigund.
Police said Ganie is a “notorious” drug peddler who sold drugs among the youth and has several cases registered against him in Police Station Qazigund. He is presently lodged under PIT NDPS Act at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
