Srinagar: An unidentified male body was found lying in the village of Beighpora Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, on Monday.
Quoting official sources, news agency JKNS reported that the body was spotted by locals, who immediately alerted the authorities. A police team reached the spot and took over the body.
The identity of the deceased and cause of death are yet to be ascertained, officials said, adding that an investigation is underway.
