BANDIPORA: The Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sonawari Constituency, Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone on Friday visited the fire-affected area of Teli Mohalla Hajin to assess the damage caused by a devastating fire that broke out during the intervening night of February 27 and 28.
During his visit, the MLA expressed sympathies to the affected families and assured them of all possible support. He emphasized the importance of quick and effective relief for fire victims and directed the concerned departments to immediately assess the extent of the damage and submit the report to the concerned authorities for timely assistance and intervention.
Hilal Akbar Lone said, “We stand with the affected families during this difficult time, and every effort will be made to provide them with necessary relief and support.”
SDM Sumbal, Tehsildar Hajin and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
