JAMMU: Nazir Ahmed Khan, Chairman, District Development Council Budgam today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

He submitted a memorandum of demands to the Lieutenant Governor pertaining to various issues of public importance including the extension of the Power Amnesty scheme, uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramzan, upgradation of the Hospital building at Soibug Budgam, the establishment of the Mini Secretariat in Budgam, etc.

The Lieutenant Governor assured Nazir Ahmed that appropriate action would be taken to address the genuine issues projected by him.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Iqbal Ahangar, Chairman, OBC Welfare Association J&K UT called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

He apprised the Lieutenant Governor of various development issues of Dooru and Verinag including the establishment of the Maternity and Child Care Hospital Dooru and the upgradation of PHC Verinag.

A delegation of Shopkeepers of multi-tier parking General Bus Stand Jammu led by its President Vishal Mahajan also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
