Srinagar: The ‘Dawa Khana’ of Hakeem Ghulam Qadir Reshi in Harwan has reopened to the public after a brief closure.

The clinic in Dara Syedpora, Harwan, was sealed last month after allegations of offering unproven medical treatments. The health authorities had seized medicines for investigations.

Meanwhile, MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar today informed that the said clinic has been allowed to resume its operations normally after “allegations against the centre proved baseless”. He welcomed the development and praised Hakeem Reshi for his patience and composure throughout the ordeal.

“I am delighted to hear that the renowned ‘Dawa Khana’ of Hakeem Ghulam Qadir Reshi Sahab in Harwan is once again open to the public, with Hakeem Sahab resuming his noble practice after the completion of investigations. Although all the allegations were found baseless by the investigative agency, I commend Reshi Sahab for his tolerant attitude during this period,” Salman Sagar informed on X.

“I’ve been told that people are overjoyed to return to this esteemed healing center after a brief pause. Wishing him the best in his service to the community,” he added on X.
