Several areas in Kashmir to face outages for maintenance

Power connection mandatory for under-construction buildings: KPDCL

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in various areas to facilitate emergency stabilization and maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer of KPDCL, the power supply from the 33kV Bandipora Line will be affected on February 10 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This will impact receiving stations at Watlab, Tujjar, and Dooru, along with their adjoining areas.

Similarly, in order to carry out repair and maintenance work on the 33kV Gulmarg Line, the power supply will remain suspended on February 10 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The affected receiving stations include Tangmarg, Kulhama, and Gulmarg, along with Baba Reshi, Ferozpora, and other nearby areas.

Additionally, the power supply to Wagoora receiving station and its adjoining areas, including Watergam, Mangam, Kawcheck, and nearby villages, will be affected on February 8 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements and cooperate with the authorities as these works are essential for improving power stability and reliability.
