Power supply to remain affected in several areas of Kashmir

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages in multiple areas across the region to facilitate essential maintenance and upgradation work on transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer KPDCL that in order to carry out the balance left over work by way of jumpering of conductor laid on Gantries across flood channel and shifting of Conductor on newly erected HT poles, the power supply from Bemina KP Bagh Line to receiving station Rakhiarth and feeding areas including Rakhiarth, Hamdania Colony and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 06 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

For temporary shifing and raising of tap, power supply from 33kv Delina-Sopore to Receiving Station Sopore-II and feeding areas including town 1st, Seer, Wagub, Amargarh and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February February 08 from 10:00 AM to 4:00PM.

In view of Stringing of conductor and replacement of PCC Pole under RDSS, the power supply from 33kv Sheeri-Baramulla1st Baramulla 2nd, the power supply to Receiving Stations including aramula-1st, Baramulla-2nd, Kanlibagh, Drangbal, Sheeri and areas including Old Town, Baramulla, Kanil Bagh, Drangbal, Sheeri and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 11 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

In view of shifting of electrical utilities along the road, the power supply to Receiving Stations including Batwina, Wangipora, Nowgam and feeding areas including Batwina, Nowgam, Wangipora, Zazna, Ahan, Waskura, Kharbagh, Guzhama, Sumbal, Nesbal and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 07 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

In order to carry out the stabilization of 33 KV Aloosa Line, power supply from Potushai Aloosa Line to the receiving station Aloosa and feeding areas including Aloosa Malangam, Quil, Mukam, Turkpora, PHE and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 08, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
