Srinagar: Kashmir-based medico Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been awarded the prestigious International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Fellowship.
Hailing from Poshkreri Village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District, Dr Tasaduk a passionate medico is also an educator, researcher and one of the noted health columnists based in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Fellowship was conferred upon Dr Itoo following the successful acceptance and approval of the application by the IDF Fellowship Committee.
The IDF Fellowship acknowledges Dr. Itoo’s commitment to promoting diabetes care, education, and advocacy in the community.
Dr Itoo is further affiliated with many prestigious medical organizations including the American College of Physicians(USA), the Royal College of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI).
The title of Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow) is an honorary title awarded to healthcare professionals working in the field of diabetes. IDF Fellows may be called upon to participate in the activities of the Federation, from conferences and research to education and advocacy.
