10 personnel awarded Director General’s Prison Medal on the eve of Republic Day 2025

JAMMU: On the occasion of Republic Day, 2025, Director General’s Prison Medal has been awarded to 10 officers/officials of the Prisons Department, J&K in recognition of their consistent and outstanding performance.

The awardees include Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, I/c Assistant Superintendent Jail, District Jail Anantnag; Sudesh Kumar Sharma, I/c  Assistant Superintendent Jail, Sub Jail Reasi; Mohammad Shabir, Head Warder, Central Jail Jammu, Kotbhalwal; Mohinder Singh, I/c Head Warder, Holding Centre Hiranagar; Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Sr. Assistant, District Jail Jammu; Javed Iqbal, SG Warder, District Jail Udhampur; Mohammad Farooq, I/c SG Warder, District Jail Kupwara; Bharat Bushan Tickoo, Warder, Prison Headquarters, J&K; Manzoor Ahmad Baba, Warder, Central Jail Srinagar and Sangeeta Rani, F/Warder, District Jail Jammu.
