Srinagar: Police in Pulwama have recovered a stolen car and apprehended the accused individual within hours of the theft, police informed Tuesday.
It said a Maruti Alto-800 vehicle (JK13E-9592) was stolen from the parking area of District Hospital Pulwama earlier today.
During investigation, the stolen vehicle was tracked down at Chersoo Awantipora, and was recovered subsequently. During the operation, the police apprehended one Mohammad Shafi Bhat, son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat, resident of Chersoo Awantipora. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether any other individuals were also involved in the theft, police informed.
