Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has named Devyani Rana, daughter of the late Devender Singh Rana, as the vice-president of its youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), for the Jammu and Kashmir unit.
The appointment was announced by BJYM J&K president Arun Prabhat in consultation with BJP J&K president Sat Sharma and general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, as per a party handout.
Devyani Rana is the daughter of former Nagrota legislator Devender Singh Rana, who passed away in October last year.
