Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday convened a meeting at his residence in Srinagar with the Srinagar’s legislators to discuss pressing issues affecting residents.
Quoting sources, news agency KINS reported that during the meeting, MLAs — Ali Muhammad Sagar, Shameema Firdous, Tanvir Sadiq, Salman Ali Sagar, Mushtaq Ahmad Guroo, and Ahsan Pardesi highlighted various challenges faced by the people of Srinagar, including water scarcity, the ongoing power crisis, and other civic issues.
Omar Abdullah, according to sources, assured the legislators that these concerns would be addressed on a priority basis, stating his commitment to resolving the problems faced by the residents of the city.
“He stated that addressing the grievances of the people of Srinagar remains a top priority for the National Conference and pledged to work tirelessly to find prompt solutions,” sources said. (KINS)
