Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession, police informed in an official handout.
It said near ITI Pattan, police intercepted a vehicle (JK01L-7671) with two persons onboard. Identified as Mohsin Raja, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Tantray, resident of Tantraypora Palhallan, and Ashiq Hussain Dar, son of Abdul Ahad of Manzseer Sopore, both persons were arrested and vehicle seized after 2.30 grams of contraband brown sugar was recovered from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Pattan for investigation, police said.
