Srinagar: Two persons were arrested in Pulwama for allegedly assaulting a mining department employee, police said in a handout Monday.
Acting on a complaint from the District Mineral Officer’s office regarding assault on an employee — Mohammad Amin Sheikh – a case was registered and subsequently two persons — Javid Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, and Shamim Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, both residents of Petipora – were arrested, police said.
