BANDIPORA, JUNE 29: District Development Commissioner Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai today visited the Yatra transit camp at Shadipora Sumbal to take stock of the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of Amarnathji Yatra.
ASP Bandipora, SDM Sonawari, District Nodal Officer ISM Health Bandipora besides other officers accompanied the DDC.
The DDC reviewed the facilities which have been kept in place by the district administration for the Yatris. He asked the concerned to discharge their duty diligently and ensure that the yatris do not face any kind of inconvenience with regard to sanitation, drinking water, transport, electricity, security, and essential commodities.
The DDC said that all possible assistance should be provided to the pilgrims. The DDC also inspected various blocks set up by various departments at the transit camp. He interacted with yatris and staff members as well.
Earlier, SDM sumbal briefed the DDC about the yatra arrangements.
